Logistics/Shipping Manager (Sr.)

Job Description

• Do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our customers expectation in compliance with the logistics SOP, Quality, SOX and custom policies.
• Develop and implement effective shipping/storage systems, procedures to ensure compliance to import/export regulations and facilitate fast custom clearance of materials and shipments
• Build working relationship with internal and external bodies for insight into future trends development in compliance with country law and business needs
• Implement freight cost control program in monitoring finish goods and raw materials delivery costs.
• Lead and manage a team of staff pertaining to import/export and warehousing functions for all logistics factory sites in Malaysia
• Planning of logistic support to ensure timely delivery of goods; Ensure staff's compliance to CUSTOM rules and regulations, cost control and quality programs; EHS, 5S guidelines etc.
• The above describes the major duties and responsibilities and is not necessarily all inclusive which to perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  
  

Requirements :

• Degree in related field with minimum 10 years experience in Logistics/Shipping management.
• Strong knowledge in custom law.
• Good communication & goverment liasison skills
