Logistic Specialist based in Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang
Monday - Friday
Basic Salary : RM3700 - RM4500
Purpose of the job This contract staff is designed to provide hands-on experience in operational support, with a focus on customer order management, logistics coordination, and business reporting.
Key Tasks
1 PO issuing
- Process purchase order accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow-up invoices with vendors.
- Coordinate between internal & external team to ensure all PO has raised before month end.
2 Logistics & Shipment Coordination
- Book shipments and coordinate with forwarders and transporters
- Maintain and update distribution cost data in relevant systems
- Conduct RFQs (Request for Quotation) for logistics-related services
3 Reporting & Presentation Support
- Prepare regular reports to support operational insights and decision-making
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Assist in creating presentation slides for internal meetings or reviews
4 Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to uphold high service standards
- Ensure all tasks are performed in full compliance with applicable laws, safety and environmental regulations, and company policies Matter
The requirements Experience, knowledge and skills
- Degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Economics or any business-related field.
- Required written and spoken language(s) fluency: English, Bahasa & Chinese Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good communication, interpersonal skill, hardworking, can-do attitude
- Experience with matrix organization would be a big plus.
