Logistics Operations: Monitor and manage inbound/outbound shipments; coordinate transport arrangements; liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main point of contact with warehouse teams, brokers, and transporters to ensure efficient communication and timely deliveries.
Freight Expense Reporting: Track and compile freight costs, prepare cost reports, and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise logistics staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
Project Assistance: Support the HOD in planning, coordinating, and executing logistics projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and promote safe work practices.
Issue Resolution: Address logistics issues, resolve shipment/documentation discrepancies, and escalate complex matters with solutions.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations.
Familiarity with transport coordination, freight cost reporting, and working with external logistics providers.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (advantageous).
