We are looking for a reliable and responsible Lorry Driver cum Warehouse Keeper to join our team. This role requires someone punctual, hardworking, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of our business.
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
Driving Duties
- Operate and drive the company&aposs 3-ton lorry for deliveries, events, and assignments.
- Be prepared to work on weekends, public holidays, at night, and outstation when required.
- Ensure the company lorry is always in excellent condition.Inform the HOD of servicing schedules and send the lorry toPUSPAKOM every six months.
- Responsible for loading, carrying, and managing event items when needed.
- Efficient in using Waze and familiar with Klang Valley routes.
- Always comply with road safety and traffic rules.
- Handle minimal paperwork such as signing Delivery Orders (DO), supporting documents, and simple reporting when required.
- Assist in ad hoc tasks such as document delivery or other assignments as instructed.
- Work closely and provide full cooperation with team members.
- If no schedule is provided, be stationed at the office/warehouse (as per HODs instruction).
Warehouse Duties
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and security at all times.
- Perform regular inventory checks and ensure records are updated accurately.
- Manage proper storage, labelling, and arrangement of event items and equipment.
- Ensure goods are received, inspected, and recorded properly upon arrival.
- Prepare items in advance for upcoming events, projects, and deliveries.
- Dispose of or report any damaged/expired items according to company procedures.
- Support smooth warehouse operations and assist other departments when required.
Requirements:
- Valid D-Class driving license (BTM < 3,500kg)
- No criminal record.
- Punctual, responsible, and dependable.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading.
- Able to manage basic paperwork for job reporting.
- Team player with a positive working attitude.
