We are seeking a qualified and experienced Low Voltage Chargeman to join our facilities and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment within our premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of low voltage electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, switchgears, and distribution boards.
- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and electrical system upgrades.
- Maintain proper documentation of electrical maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and support facility operations.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Willing to work on-call or during weekends/public holidays if required.
