Role Description The Luge Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based at Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur. The Luge Operator is responsible for safely operating the Luge and related attractions, assisting guests with equipment, and providing clear instructions on ride procedures and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring track conditions, managing ride queues, performing basic checks on carts and equipment, and promptly reporting any issues or incidents to supervisors. The role involves engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, supporting crowd flow and ride efficiency, and helping maintain a clean and orderly operating area. Luge Operators may also assist with opening and closing procedures, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and supporting other park activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety protocols, conduct basic equipment checks, and respond calmly to incidents or emergencies.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with guests of diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and assist with moving carts and equipment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and orderly ride environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by park operations.
• Previous experience in attractions, theme parks, outdoor adventure, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Basic first aid knowledge and familiarity with safety standards in recreational environments are beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate in English; additional languages are a plus.
