Maximo Advisory & Consulting (MAC) is growing our M&A Consulting & Strategy practice. Were seeking an exceptional manager who excels at the intersection of strategy, transactions, and transformation.
This role is ideal for candidates with a consulting mindset and strong transactional experience who are comfortable navigating both boardrooms and deal rooms.
Your Role
As a Manager, youll lead strategic M&A and transformation engagements from pre-deal analysis through post-deal value creation.
You will:
- Lead commercial due diligence, synergy assessments, and market entry strategies
- Guide clients through pre- and post-deal planning (target identification, integration, value realization)
- Build compelling insights through industry, competitor, and financial analysis
- Work closely with senior stakeholders (C-suite, founders, investors) across diverse sectors
- Develop high-impact deliverables: strategic recommendations, operating models, synergy playbooks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with M&A, corporate finance, and operations teams
- Mentor junior consultants and help shape MACs consulting toolkit
What You Bring
- 58 years of experience in strategy consulting, M&A advisory, or corporate strategy
- Strong exposure to deal-related projects (CDD, integration, synergy analysis, etc.)
- Analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders
- Sector experience in tech, healthcare, consumer, or industrials is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
