M & E Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated M&E Engineer to oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical works at our construction site at Larkinton JB. The successful candidate will ensure all M&E activities are carried out according to project specifications, safety standards and construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site
• Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans
• Monitor site progress and ensure work quality complies with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of M&E systems
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and documentation
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction site supervision or M&E works
• Knowledge of M&E systems, installation standards and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiar with local authority requirements and safety regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is an advantage
