M&E Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and electrical design for Cable Landing Stations (CLS), submarine cables and terrestrial backhaul systems.
• Prepare/review engineering calculations, AutoCAD drawings, specifications and technical documentation covering power, UPS, generators, HVAC, grounding, lighting and fire protection.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, telecom and other engineering disciplines for seamless system integration.
• Apply data centre design principles and M&E engineering requirements to CLS projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and technical evaluations.
• Review engineering drawings, vendor submissions and technical documents for compliance.
• Support construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT and technical issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations and QHSE requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in M&E / Data Centre / Critical Infrastructure design; CLS or telecom infrastructure experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services, including power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, grounding and fire protection.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards, regulations and QHSE requirements.
