Review and interpret M&E (electrical) construction drawings, including both LV (Low Voltage) and ELV(Extra-Low Voltage) systems.
Perform quantity take-off and materials estimation based on approved drawings.
ldentify and report discrepancies or design issues in drawings; propose practical, value-engineered solutions.
Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and site teams to ensure installation works follow design and site conditions.
Provide technical supervision on-site to ensure electrical works are carried out according to specifications and standards.
Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
Monitor and update project progress reports related to electrical scopes.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field, BEM registered certificate holder.
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in industrial or factory-based M&E construction projects. Strong understanding of LV & ELV electrical systems, including cable routing, trunking, DB, lighting,and communication systems.
Proficient in reading and analyzing electrical drawings; able to perform accurate quantity take-off anddrawing review.
Experience in identifying drawing inconsistencies and offering optimization or design adjustments.
Able to work independently and coordinate with site teams effectively.
Willing to be based full-time at the Penang, or Johor project site.
