As a Machine Learning Developer at Comfort Works, you will be at the forefront of creating an intelligent system that identifies various furniture shapes and models from images and collaborating in developing our overarching machine learning initiatives that will further enhance the mission to beautify the world's old and tired sofas

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in developing our overarching machine learning strategy to enhance product identification and measurement extraction.
- Design, program, and train machine learning models primarily using Python (PyTorch and PyTorch Transformer); familiarity with Node.js, Go, or Rust is a plus.
- Utilize WebGL for creating training image datasets from our extensive library of 3D models.
- Refine ML models to realistically estimate sofa dimensions with high accuracy.
- Contribute to the creation of outstanding ML products that reflect Comfort Works innovative ethos.
- Act as a change agent, infusing our organizational culture with machine learning knowledge and practices.
- All employees are expected to perform these duties with consideration for social and environmental impact, alongside any other duties assigned by their immediate supervisor.
The Requirements
- Deep Learning & Math: A deep mathematical understanding of deep learning algorithms and computer vision, specifically Transformers, Object Detection, and 3D reconstruction techniques.
- Framework Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in PyTorch and experience with the PyTorch Transformer ecosystem (replacing Keras/TensorFlow).
- ML Vernacular: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ML concepts, architectural trade-offs, and research papers to the team clearly.
- Cloud Experience: Proven experience with cloud-based machine learning services, including Google AutoML, Azure ML Studio, and Amazon SageMaker.
- Coding Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing production-ready code.
- API Integration: Expertise in cloud-based API framework integration with the developer's programming language of choice.
