Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Machinist (Turn and Mill) position based in Johore, Malaysia. The primary responsibilities include operating turning and milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and ensuring that parts meet quality and design specifications. The Machinist will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming turning and milling machines
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Knowledge of machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality
- Understanding of safety protocols and workplace safety regulations
- Relevant training or certification in machining; vocational or technical qualification is a plus
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is advantageous
- Good teamwork, problem-solving skills, and workplace communication
