Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Developer with experience in Mainframe systems, specifically within the Cards domain. The candidate will work on Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL, primarily on VSAM and sequential datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Mainframe applications for card systems

• Work with COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL to implement business requirements

• Perform unit testing and assist in system testing activities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Mainframe applications

• Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to ensure accurate solutions

• Follow development standards and maintain code quality

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe development

• Strong knowledge of COBOL and CICS

• Experience with Easytrieve and JCL

• Familiarity with VSAM and sequential datasets

• Mainframe ZOS operating system experience

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a team and follow development standards

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Cardlink or other card system platforms

• Experience in end-to-end card processing applications

• Knowledge of batch processing in Mainframe
