Maintenance Engineer

Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. MFM has grown to become the leading flour miller in Malaysia with regional presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. MFM is one of the major poultry integrators in poultry feeds, breeding, farming with a state-of-the-art processing facility across the poultry value chain. Designed to meet the domestic and international markets, the advanced facility will process up to 300,000 birds per day.

Job Description

• Responsible to lead and execute preventive maintenance for all plant process equipment according to work orders.
• To repair and provide solution soonest possible to reduce production downtime.
• To coordinate in ensuring and providing problem solving and troubleshooting for all plant equipment in the event of technical failure.
• Coordinate and manage manpower planning to ensure that all tasks assigned are completed with good quality.
• To liaise with contractors and suppliers for parts and services at the lowest cost possible.
• To participate in special project as and when required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of working experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• PLC & automation experience would be added advantage.
• This position is based at Pasir Gudang.
