- Ensuring industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably to support continuous manufacturing activities.
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
- Diagnose breakdown problems & fix them with urgency.
- Machine and layout improvement to enhance performance.
- Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machineries at factory.
- Providing technical support and training on new equipment
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
- Provide training to enhance competency of Maintenance Technicians.
- Liaise with related personnel and Governmental bodies (DOE, DOSH) to ensure compliance to related regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to health, safety and environmental legislation
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience
- Knowledge of maintenance, environment standard and applicable laws and regulation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and system
- Required High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Ability to read system schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Ability to work with heavy equipment.
