Maintenance Manager Glove Manufacturing

Our client is a global leader in glove manufacturing and industrial innovation, delivering essential products that meet international quality standards and support mission‑critical production facilities. As part of their expansion in Malaysia, they are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with global benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement process improvement and automation to enhance glove production quality and output.
• Implement and manage machine maintenance and repair procedures to improve efficiency.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules to maximize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
• Oversee acquisition of spare parts and equipment to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
• Manage factory construction projects and equipment commissioning with contractors and internal teams.
• Monitor material costs and implement cost‑saving programs.
• Restructure the maintenance department to improve efficiency, performance, and glove quality.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices and maintain cleanliness across the plant.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine parameters for maximum productivity.
• Ensure quality standards for incoming, in‑process, and outgoing products meet ISO 9002 certification.
• Lead manpower planning, recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
• Guide, motivate, and coach subordinates to enhance morale and performance.

Requirements

• Degree in a related field or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Proven experience in glove manufacturing maintenance management.
• Strong command of English and Malay (spoken and written).
• Results‑oriented with strong follow‑up and negotiation skills.
• Pleasant personality with the ability to interact across all levels.
