Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician (Facility) to focus on the rigorous maintenance of HVAC systems (AHU/FCU/Cassette) and essential pumps, alongside managing Fire Safety and EHS compliance. You will act as a key technical point of contact, supervising external vendors and ensuring all repairs are followed up with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for all facility equipment and systems, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted facility operations.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for AHUs, MAHUs, FCUs, ceiling cassette units, dryers, pumps, and other facility-related equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facilities equipment to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all facilities systems and fire safety equipment are maintained in good working condition and comply with applicable EHS requirements, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment and promptly identify potential equipment failures, abnormalities, and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure timely follow-up and closure of all repair, maintenance, and service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment breakdowns, and service activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of facility areas, maintenance rooms, and work areas.
• Monitor the operating condition and performance of facility equipment and escalate major or recurring issues to the appropriate management.
• Coordinate and supervise external maintenance contractors and service vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and according to agreed specifications.
• Review vendor work and verify that maintenance activities are properly completed before closing service requests.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company EHS procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Support facility improvement, equipment upgrades, and maintenance projects as assigned.
• Maintain sufficient spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials required for routine and corrective maintenance.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergencies to minimize operational disruption.
• Perform other facilities and maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in facilities, building services, equipment maintenance, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of facilities equipment and maintenance, particularly AHUs, MAHUs, FCUs, ceiling cassette units, dryers, pumps, and related facility systems.
• Good understanding of EHS requirements, workplace safety practices, and applicable rules and regulations.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance matters.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors.
• Motivated, approachable, responsible, and proactive in following up on maintenance activities.
• High sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility for assigned facilities and equipment.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or respond to emergencies when required by business needs
