Maintenance Technician

Department: Engineering & Facilities Management

Location: Pulau Indah, Selangor

• Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting for building facilities and equipment.
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting, inspection, servicing and basic repair, including identifying faults related to air-conditioning units, FCU, AHU, split units and associated components.
• Attend to air-conditioning breakdowns and identify the root cause of common HVAC problems such as poor cooling, water leakage, abnormal noise, fan/motor issues and electrical faults.
• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation, comfort and energy efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance works for electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other building services.
• Attend to maintenance complaints, work orders and breakdowns within the required response time.
• Carry out minor repair and replacement works such as lighting, switches, sockets, pumps, plumbing fittings and other building components.
• Conduct routine inspection of building facilities, equipment and M&E systems.
• Record maintenance activities, defects, inspection results and completed works in the CMMS system.
• Assist in updating asset records, PPM schedules and maintenance history through CMMS.
• Coordinate and assist contractors during HVAC servicing, repair, testing and inspection works.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering/FM Manager or Executive.
