Management Information System Executive

Job Description

The MIS Executive will provide first-level IT support to users and assist in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. The role involves supporting hardware, software, network, CCTV, and cybersecurity-related activities to ensure smooth business operations.

Note: This is a 1-year contract position, with potential for absorption into a permanent position subject to performance, business requirements, and management approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for end users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and related software.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Monitor and support CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, user access control, and security compliance.
• Perform system maintenance, software updates, and routine health checks.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel when required.
• Participate in IT projects and system improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely resolution of user requests and incidents.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship or practical experience in IT support will be an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Familiarity with computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT security best practices.
• Exposure to CCTV systems and monitoring solutions is an advantage.
