Strong leader to the AP team has the experience and managerial capabilities to guide, motivate and lead the staff towards to a Quality Champion AP team
Be the project lead for AP stream in the BSC Continuous Improvement Project
Be part of the transformation team to revamp the AP within JSG.
Responsibilities -
- Oversee and manage the BSC AP functions to deliver quality, accurate and timely outputs to JSG operating companies, in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP) and KPIs
- Hiring, training, developing, retaining BSC AP Finance team and continuously improve the AP team efficiency and build a strong quality team
- Lead process standardization, redesign process/projects, and develop ongoing and actionable continuous improvement initiatives, process automation initiatives, and process simplification (or elimination) initiatives for AP.
- Actively participate in designing and developing standard operating procedure and working instruction for each process in AP within the JSG
- Plan and execute project implementation, user acceptance test (if any) and coordinate with all stakeholders & PMO within project scope and project specific timeframe
- Prepare training materials, train the trainers in the relevant processes
- Ensure smooth transition between OC finance and BSC finance, to communicate properly to the relevant parties on the transition scope and the left behind scope, and to document local variations by OC.
- Compiling, analysing and reporting financial information to management or JSG operating companies
- Prepare related reports, KPIs and efficiency benchmark based on SLA on fixed intervals
- Guide, transfer OC knowledge and provide on-the-job trainings to the team members or any other parties within the JSG
- Involve in other ad hoc sub-projects
- Support the Employee Safety Initiative by ensuring the safety related budget is properly reviewed and made available
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
Required Skills
Implementation & Integration experience will be added advantage
Full set account knowledge is preferable.
Good knowledge of accounting and project management.
