We are looking for a Manager, Agency Administration & Compensation in Malaysia who will manage the overall planning and execution of operational matters for our Agency business. This includes agency registration, campaign management and commission management.

What You'll Do

  • Manage retail agency registration including on-boarding of UT/PRS Consultants, renewal of membership, and maintenance of agency database.
  • Provide operational support to Agency Campaign Team by developing and implementing procedures required for launching of campaigns to agency force, overall configuration and system changes in campaign system and generating and verifying reports.
  • Handle commission related matters for corporate agency (month-end commission processing, verification reports and release of commission, maintenance of compensation structure, change set and more).
  • Execute internal controls and ensure all maker-checker processes are in place and properly executed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all system enhancement testing are completed within the timeline, tracking and monitoring of Change Request & Incident Report in an effective manner.
  • Ensure tracking all findings in audit and compliance reports within the stipulated timeline.
  • Review and evaluate work processes to enhance the efficiency of operations and initiate action plan to prevent the occurrence of service non-conformity.
  • Manage a team who will assist with the above responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies & procedures as well as with external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage operational risk control activities such as monthly sharp self-testing, Compliance Matrix review and self-testing.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities and special projects as required.

Who You Are

  • A bachelor's degree or professional qualification holder in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or other related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in managing a team is required.
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and work well in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Well-versed in internal control & measures for optimization of operational efficiencies
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to multitask well.
