Manager / Assistant Manager (Architectural)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled architectural professional to oversee and ensure excellence in all architectural facets of projects. Join our team to lead architectural processes from design reviews to final coordination, ensuring compliance and quality throughout.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities regarding architectural matters. Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements ensure alignment with project requirements. Lead VDC initiatives focused on architecture-related components. Monitor and coordinate overall architectural site work to align with project schedules and budgets. Collaborate with the Quality and Service Department to establish the QC Plan. Track actual material usage against computed quantities on a monthly basis. Review and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings, including Civil & Structural and Building Services. Prepare layout plans for tile and wall setting. Monitor variation orders and assess back charges. Validate BIM models against contract drawings. Facilitate subcontractor meetings and technical discussions concerning architecture. Develop checklists for RI (Architectural) and TOP processes. Oversee architectural material submissions, sample boards, trade demonstrations, and shop drawing evaluations. Assist in reviewing vendor selections to ensure adherence to project specifications. Lead the preparation of as-built drawings and O&M documentation. Coordinate the handover process to owners, Town Council, authorities, and managing agents. Evaluate subcontractor claims and progress assessments. Ensure all work activities are executed in a safe working environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience, ideally in private residential projects. Capability to lead and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring smooth workflow and quality standards. Independent, diligent, and self-motivated, possessing strong teamwork capabilities. Comprehensive understanding of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in BIM software.
