Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Functional (job responsibilities):

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive sales surveillance frameworks to monitor bancassurance sales activities for adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk departments to ensure all bancassurance products and sales processes meet the latest regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and report on sales-related incidents, recommending corrective actions and preventative measures.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service level agreements (SLAs) for all bancassurance operations.
  • Establish and manage a robust complaint-handling framework for bancassurance products, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer grievances.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for increasing bancassurance product penetration across the bank's customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategies and campaigns in collaboration with sales and marketing teams to enhance cross-selling and up selling of bancassurance products.
  • Monitor and report on bancassurance customer acquisition, retention, and penetration rates, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end execution of new bancassurance initiatives and projects, from conceptualization to launch and post-launch review.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.

Jobholder Requirements:

Requirement:

  • Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance/Economics or a related field.
  • Pre Contract Exam (PCE), CEILI and Takaful Basic Exam (TBE) certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 7 years and above relevant experience in financial/insurance field.
  • Working in banking or insurance operations roles with regulatory compliance experience and/or project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Personable, approachable, collaborative.

Special Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Working proficiency of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
