Job Description

Business Continuity Management

  • Develop and maintain business continuity management framework, including policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate, review and challenge risk assessments and business impact assessments that takes into consideration the potential threats and vulnerabilities to HLA's business operations.
  • Review and test organization wide and departmental business continuity plans.
  • Train and educate staff on HLA's business continuity program.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure BCM is integrated with HLA's overall risk management framework.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure BCM is integrated within critical business functions.
  • Responsible to ensure HLA's BCM complies with applicable laws and regulation.
  • Assist with the management of a crisis, such as a natural disaster or cyberattack.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement disaster recovery plans.

Third Party Business Continuity Management

  • Review due diligence documentation for third party activities application, including new vendor arrangements and renewal or renegotiating of existing arrangements. Coordinate annual performance and due diligence review of vendors with the business units.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders in compiling and preparing Technology related Annual Third-Party Risk Plan & ensure timely submission to BNM.

Others

  • Participate in risk management projects and working groups as assigned by the Head of Technology Risk & Business Continuity Management.
  • Perform other duties to support the business continuity management function and overall risk management objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and regulatory risk management policies and guidelines.
  • Lead, guide & support team/group members in the team to achieve relevant KRAs.
  • Provide support to team/group members where necessary within department & across units.
  • Inculcate proactive risk management culture in the organization.
  • Support overall relevant assigned tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science or related fields.
  • Certification in BCM such as CBCP or DRCE will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT Risk / IT Compliance / IT Audit.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in BCM in a financial institution, related financial services functions or consulting firms.
  • Experience in IT Risk and Operational Risk will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departmental line as a team player and exercise informed judgment and advice in regulatory and risk management matters.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team. Good writing skills. Good internal control knowledge.
  • Highly desired skills: - Analytical skills and an eye for detail - Critical thinking - Commercial awareness - Planning and organizational skills - Ability to understand broader business issues - Communication and presentation skills.
