Job Description

Supporting the Business Development team in the Commercial Outsourcing division to help drive client acquisition in the Ethical channel.

Develop, acquire, expand and oversee the execution of consumer healthcare clients with strategies to achieve long-term relationships.

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage business opportunities or leads to develop a strong pipeline in the consumer healthcare segment.
  • Development and implement client engagement activities as part of the hunting process.
  • Preparing business case analysis, proposal, negotiation, pricing and contract terms.
  • Lead and manage the improvement of current Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy within the consumer healthcare segment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in identifying upselling opportunities, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts or existing clients.
  • Establish long-term relationships with potential key clients/customers with the view to enhance business opportunities.
  • Lead and conduct market research or feasibility studies, evaluate findings and make recommendations to management about the viability of the opportunity.
  • Oversee the business integration process for new clients to ensure alignment with relevant key functions.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and well verse of the ethical business.
  • Relevant experience in the ethical marketing business especially in the Hospital channel.
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel (eg. pivot tables, vlookups, dashboards) and able to handle data ambiguity as well as developing compelling presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work in a team with attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mind set and resourceful.
  • Ability to understand business needs and deliver meaningful market analysis or assessment with recommendations.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position or commercial experience in Ethical marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in managerial capacity.
  • Advantage to applicant with a Degree in Pharmacy.
