Assist to structure and secure financing for property developments, including loans, bonds, and other financial instruments.
Source and negotiate favourable terms for loans, credit facilities, and banking services to support project financing and operational needs.
Evaluate and recommend banking products or structures to support company growth and real estate developments.
Ensuring timely debt servicing and compliance of covenants under various financing agreements external debt, bonds, etc. for banking facilities and corporate finance transactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial banks, investment banks, and other financial institutions in Malaysia and the region.
Coordinating with other Group Finance teams for the preparation of financing cash flow projections/ analyzing evaluating funding proposals.
Working closely with the various division under Group Finance, as well as Investor Relations and the respective finance teams of the business units of S P Setia group.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, corporate finance, or treasury management, preferably within the property development or banking sector.
Proven track record in structuring complex financing deals, negotiating favorable terms, and managing banking relationships at a senior level.
Strong understanding of financial instruments, debt capital markets, and regulatory compliance related to financing agreements.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate funding proposals and recommend optimal solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management, financial institutions, and cross-functional teams.
High proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and deliver within tight deadlines.
Familiarity with regional banking practices and market trends in Malaysia and ASEAN is an advantage.
