Manager, Custody Settlement

The role focuses on ensuring all client trades settle accurately and on time while maintaining high-quality custody services and operational controls.

You will work closely with FX, treasury, lending, and middle office teams to resolve settlement issues, improve STP and settlement rates, and manage daily operational performance.

What You Will Do

• Lead the Settlements team and oversee daily trade settlement activities
• Ensure trades are settled accurately and within deadlines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve settlement issues
• Improve STP rates and operational efficiency
• Monitor operational risks, escalations, and audit readiness
• Manage team performance, coaching, and development
• Support business continuity and recovery planning
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and settlement reviews

Your Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in Custody, Settlements, or Middle Office operations
• Strong knowledge of custody settlement processes
• Experience handling cash, FX, derivatives, or reconciliations
• Leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more
