Manager, Customs Compliance

Responsibilities

• Handling related matters to global/regional/country/Royal Customs audit
• Quarterly check for southern customers
• Managing all the inbound and outbound activity for central and southern customer (Bonded/PTP/FCZ)
• Handling incoming and outgoing escalation to ops and manager
• Handling query between SSPK & WMS for incoming (Royal Customs, OPS, CLS & IT)
• Follow up incoming or outgoing
• Monthly report (Royal Customs/External/Internal)
• Handling query or escalation incoming process - K8
• Handling query or escalation outgoing process - K9,K8, K1
• Two years inventory extension (bonded)
• Ensure required process is documented.
• Support any task as per required by General Manager instruction.
• Manage Other Government Agencies (OGA) applications and compliance with customs requirements
• Liaise with agencies MAQIS, FoSIM, PHARMACY, SIRIM, MTIB, Certificate Of Conformance (COC), Malaysia Consumer Product Safety Mandatory (MySAFE), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost Of Living (KPDN) and other related OGA
• Oversee FCZ area operations and movement of goods in accordance with customs regulations.
• Liase with customs authorities on FCZ inspections, and operational matters
• Maintain all documentations on customer's request.
• Ensure full compliance with customer's requirements, internal SOPs and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Logistics
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Customs Operations inclusive of K1, K8 & K9 process
• Minimum 3 years of experience in working closely with related Government Agencies
• Must be able to travel across Central and Southern regions
