About the Job
Conduct in-depth data analytics to deliver insights for management and relevant stakeholders for strategic planning and to make data-driven decisions, design and enhance dashboards and visualizations and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights on key initiatives.
- Responsible for analysing large datasets, creating and maintaining data visualisation and dashboards to meet business needs and inform strategic planning and sound business decisions.
- Work closely with business teams to understand functional and technical requirements to address business needs and challenges.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management and governance.
- Lead/Support in data or AI-related projects and provide actionable next steps to address business challenges.
- Conduct research and synthesise findings into plans, processes, and playbooks that are clear and lead to actionable insights
- Collaborate with other Great Eastern entities in regional dashboard development cycle - from gathering and proposing business requirement, designing dataflow and data structure, to developing dashboard.
- Support ad-hoc data analytics and periodic reporting requests.
We are looking for people who
- Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or equivalent disciplines that focuses on extensive use of data for analysis.
- Mathematically inclined.
- Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence. Experience working in artificial intelligence or data science projects is an advantage.
- Relevant computer skills: Tableau, Python, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Exposure to coding and the ability to use analytical tools is an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- People management skills and strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to deal with all levels of staff, especially senior levels.
