- Lead and coach a team of 2-5 Cost Analysts who:
- Develop robust cost models including modeling of wafer processing costs based on changes to Materials or Equipment costs
- Identify most suitable raw material or factor input indices; develop database to host such indices, update the data in a timely manner, and advocate for its usage
- Support Commodity Heads and Commodity Analysts in their sourcing activities
- Provide support on supplier profiles, supplier ratings, supplier management activities, and driving actions
- Drive assigned projects based on aligned timelines and deliverables
- The manager is responsible for coaching the team members, problem-solving user needs with users and teams, as well as framing the solutions.
- The manager should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to help team members to iterate their solutions and deliverables.
Job Complexity
- The role is global in nature with stakeholders in Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, and the US
- As the team is ramping up and solutions are developed, ambiguity is expected

- The role requires skills in assessing cost in terms of cost drivers, should-cost, etc. Good understanding of the Procurement Chessboard is essential
- Proven competency in solving tough problems with both quantitative and qualitative angles is essential
- Successful candidate likely possesses 6-9 years of experience, including 2 years as a formal people manager or in roles leading cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Successful candidate should have worked in a large multinational company in roles with global influence
