Job Descriptions:
Facility Maintenance
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the DC facility, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and arrange repair, renovation, and maintenance work, including work permits for vendors/contractors.
- Monitor building cleanliness and condition, and coordinate with the landlord on facility-related issues.
- Plan and manage maintenance projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Support maintenance and installation activities when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Monitor legal and regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates.
- Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure contractors comply with the Safety Management System.
- Review HIRARC, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
- Ensure first aid and welfare facilities are maintained.
- Conduct safety inspections, recommend corrective actions, and submit safety reports to HQ and DOSH.
- Liaise with DOSH, police, and relevant authorities on safety and compliance matters.
- Maintain safety records and continuously improve the Safety Management System.
Security
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Oversee security operations, surveillance systems, and in-house security personnel.
- Ensure security staff are properly trained and disciplinary matters are handled when required.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Manage security resources, budgets, staffing schedules, and contractor performance.
- Maintain surveillance equipment and coordinate repairs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security regulations while adopting new security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in supervising maintenance teams, contractors, and security personnel.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office.
- Possessed OSHA or related safety certification is an added advantage.
Note: This position is based at our Distribution Centre (DC) in Bukit Raja, Klang. The role requires on-site presence to oversee daily facility maintenance, safety compliance, and security operations, while working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and relevant regulatory authorities.
