Job Descriptions:

Facility Maintenance

1. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the DC facility, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety requirements.
2. Conduct routine inspections and arrange repair, renovation, and maintenance work, including work permits for vendors/contractors.
3. Monitor building cleanliness and condition, and coordinate with the landlord on facility-related issues.
4. Plan and manage maintenance projects, budgets, and timelines.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
6. Support maintenance and installation activities when required.

Safety & Compliance

1. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
2. Monitor legal and regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates.
3. Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective measures.
4. Ensure contractors comply with the Safety Management System.
5. Review HIRARC, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
6. Ensure first aid and welfare facilities are maintained.
7. Conduct safety inspections, recommend corrective actions, and submit safety reports to HQ and DOSH.
8. Liaise with DOSH, police, and relevant authorities on safety and compliance matters.
9. Maintain safety records and continuously improve the Safety Management System.

Security

1. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations.
2. Oversee security operations, surveillance systems, and in-house security personnel.
3. Ensure security staff are properly trained and disciplinary matters are handled when required.
4. Respond to and investigate security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
5. Manage security resources, budgets, staffing schedules, and contractor performance.
6. Maintain surveillance equipment and coordinate repairs.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and security regulations while adopting new security technologies.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
2. 5–8 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in supervising maintenance teams, contractors, and security personnel.
4. Knowledge of facility maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
5. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
7. Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office.
8. Possessed OSHA or related safety certification is an added advantage.

Note: This position is based at our Distribution Centre (DC) in Bukit Raja, Klang. The role requires on-site presence to oversee daily facility maintenance, safety compliance, and security operations, while working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and relevant regulatory authorities.
