This role will be responsible to support the Investor Relations functions of the Bank by providing periodic update to the Bank's performance, manages investor meetings and performing analysis/benchmarking for management. The role will cover the Corporate Finance function as well in assisting in the execution of corporate finance deals including but not limited to mergers & acquisition (M&A), disposals, investment opportunities, equity and debt capital market transactions.
Investor Relations
Develop and maintain relationships with investors and analysts by providing periodic updates on the Bank's performance and strategies.
Organise investor meetings, conferences and roadshows, as well as the preparation of investor presentations and reports
Manage inquiries from analysts and investors, review analysts report and highlight commentaries / concerns
Provide financial analysis that mirrors those of analysts to help enhance engagement and communication process
Lead in the coordination and preparation of the Bank's annual report
Monitor market and industry trends, regulatory developments and competitor activities
Provide support for all rating exercises
Corporate Finance
Provide support for M&A and investment activities from evaluation, execution through to completion of the transaction.
Perform research, financial analysis / modelling and valuation of targets.
Evaluate the prospect and provide recommendations to management in presentation format, supported with both commercial and financial justifications.
Lead in deal execution and closing of transaction, including but not limited to review of transaction documentation, obtaining board and shareholders approval, deal structuring and funding/capital considerations.
Oversee debt and equity capital raising for the Bank and ensure governance of existing debt/capital programmes.
Education/Qualification
Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree or Master Degree in accounting / finance / banking or related
field.
Job Requirements:
Preferably 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Great team player that is able to work under stress and manage various stakeholders of the Bank.
Experience in corporate finance or investment banking.
Experience in the capital markets related activities, financial modelling and valuation would be a distinct advantage.
Analytical mindset with attention to details, research capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Familiarity with SC's capital markets guidelines, Basel III and banking regulations.
Familiarity with generative AI tools and prompt engineering like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.
