We are looking for a Manager, Finance Operations in Malaysia who will lead the Reconciliation and Automation team within the Finance Operations department.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist the team on investigating and resolving all the unreconciled items in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other departments to obtain documentation for reconciliation.
  • Provide guidance to team members to maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as risk management, compliance and others for necessary reporting.
  • Liaise with external auditors during audits and vendors.
  • Communicate findings and suggest corrective actions to internal department and to management.
  • Responsible for projects related to internal department.
  • Backup for internal department on BAU process.

Who You Are

  • A bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification(s) such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MICPAwould be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 6-8 years in accounting and reconciliation within the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in leading a team is ideal.
  • Able to display agility, agility and strong collaboration skills across the department.
  • Positive and self-motivated work attitude.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to take on project-based responsibilities and act as a backup for BAU processes.
