We are looking for a Manager, Finance Operations in Malaysia who will lead the Reconciliation and Automation team within the Finance Operations department.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist the team on investigating and resolving all the unreconciled items in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other departments to obtain documentation for reconciliation.
- Provide guidance to team members to maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments such as risk management, compliance and others for necessary reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and vendors.
- Communicate findings and suggest corrective actions to internal department and to management.
- Responsible for projects related to internal department.
- Backup for internal department on BAU process.
Who You Are
- A bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification(s) such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MICPAwould be an added advantage.
- Minimum 6-8 years in accounting and reconciliation within the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in leading a team is ideal.
- Able to display agility, agility and strong collaboration skills across the department.
- Positive and self-motivated work attitude.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to take on project-based responsibilities and act as a backup for BAU processes.
