Manager - Financial Monitoring and Commercial Modelling (Oracle)

The Financial Monitoring and Commercial Modelling Manager is responsible for supporting daily financial monitoring across multiple workstreams spanning different localities within the firm's network. The role also has responsibility for delivering complex commercial modelling to support pricing negotiations and related decision-making.

The position requires the ability to work across multiple ERP systems that provide equivalent financial information in different formats, ensuring consistent reporting, analysis, and interpretation. A strong finance background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance across 10 workstreams and 8 or more territories.
• Consolidate and validate financial information from multiple ERP systems.
• Analyse variances, trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and management summaries for stakeholders.
• Support month-end, ad hoc, and issue-led financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex commercial models to support pricing negotiations.
• Prepare scenario, sensitivity, and profitability analyses.
• Evaluate the financial impact of pricing proposals, contract terms, and negotiation positions.
• Work with commercial, finance, and operational stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Extract, reconcile, and interpret data from multiple systems to enable comparable analysis.
• Support standardisation of reporting metrics and methodologies where appropriate.
• Contribute to improvements in reporting quality, efficiency, and data integrity.
• Communicate findings clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Act as a point of contact for monitoring and modelling-related queries.

Required Experience and Skills

• Demonstrable experience in financial monitoring, commercial finance, FP&A, or a similar finance role.
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems and consolidating information from varied sources.
• Strong commercial modelling capability, including pricing analysis and scenario modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability; experience with BI tools is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced, multi-territory environment.

Preferred Background

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent desirable.
• Banking and finance background preferred.
• Experience in a multinational or matrix organisation would be an advantage.
