Responsible in coordinating recovery and field visit activities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation at branch level.
To work closely with Business Heads, Portfolio Managers and Site Visit Manager.
Train and evaluate staff members within the collection department to ensure a sufficient number of staff members are available to handle the workload and achieve the target set.
To keep track of each staffs productivity including coaching staff who do not perform up to company standard.
To conduct necessary investigations and follow-ups on high balances/un-contactable cases for self and team.
To call and follow up with customers/accounts assigned on their outstanding payments.
To negotiate/propose favorable payment arrangements for settlement of account outstanding.
To ensure 100% compliance on established regulations, clients requirements and customer information confidentiality at all times.
To assist customers with any existing disputes to enable them to make full settlements.
To handle administrative functions including compliance matters for the branch and ensure no audit findings for the branch.
Ad hoc task as assigned by the Directors and Head of Business Operations.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize recovery and minimize delinquency.
Ensure collections activities comply with internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Create daily/weekly/monthly dashboards for management review.
Optimize recovery tactics (e.g., call center strategies, field collections, settlements).
Job Requirements
Posses Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
37 years of experience in collections, credit risk, or portfolio management.
Analytical Skills Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Financial Acumen Understanding of credit products, recovery processes, and financial regulations.
Leadership Managing teams or external partners effectively.
Negotiation Skills Especially valuable if handling high-touch accounts.
