Your Mission

Incorporation & Establishment

  • Support the establishment of Guthrie Foundation (Foundation), including coordination of incorporation processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective set-up of Foundation operations and structure.
  • Foundation Governance & Compliance

    • Manage programmes under the Foundation's three pillars: Education, Natural World, and Heritage & Community
    • Coordinate programme handover from external partners where applicable, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's objectives.
    • Monitor delivery of programmes implemented by partners, ensuring alignment with objectives and reporting standards.

    Programme & Pillar Management

    • Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of programmes under the Foundation's key pillars: Education, Natural World, and Heritage & Community.
    • Ensure programmes are aligned with the Foundation's objectives and deliver measurable impact.
    • Monitor programme performance, progress, and reporting in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

    Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

    • Serve as the key coordination point between Foundation and internal stakeholders, including Group HR, Finance, and Communications.
    • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, institutions, and community partners.
    • Facilitate collaborations to support the successful delivery of Foundation initiatives.

    Operational Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including supervision of staff, task allocation, and workflow management.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to support operational efficiency.
    • Prepare management reports, updates, and presentation materials for leadership and governing bodies.

    Financial Management & Oversight

    • Support financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of Foundation activities in collaboration with the Finance function.
    • Ensure utilisation of funds is aligned with approved purposes, governance standards, and compliance requirements.

    Branding, Communication & Visibility

    • Collaborate with Group Communications to ensure consistent positioning and visibility of Foundation initiatives.
    • Support the development of communication materials, reports, and engagement platforms to enhance stakeholder awareness and impact.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Sustainability, or related field
    • Minimum 6 years work experience in CSR, philanthropic, or program/foundation management
    • Minimum 6 years work experience in governance, programme management, stakeholder engagement, or foundation/NGO operations
    • Experience with regulatory bodies (SSM, IRB) or tax-exempt foundations is an advantage
    • Knowledge of foundation governance and compliance processes, programme monitoring, and operational workflows
    • Understanding of philanthropic program design, monitoring, and evaluation
    • Ability to manage reporting cycles, Board documentation, and Secretariat workflows
    • Proficient in MS Office and project management/digital reporting tools
