Role Overview:

The Manager, Health, Safety & Security will serve as the Group-wide lead responsible for establishing, implementing, and governing Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and security standards across headquarters and subsidiaries.

This role ensures a consistent, proactive, and scalable safety and security framework, supporting the organization's rapid growth while minimizing operational risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening workplace safety culture.

What You'll Do:

Group Health & Safety Leader

  • Serve as the appointed Group HSO and strategic lead for Health, Safety & Security across HQ and subsidiaries
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance a Group-wide OSH governance framework, aligned with regulatory and industry best practices
  • Establish and enforce standardized policies, SOPs, and control measures, ensuring consistency and scalability across all locations
  • Provide leadership, direction, and governance to OSH Coordinators (OSH-C), including capability development and performance oversight
  • Drive a proactive risk management approach, including structured risk assessments, workplace inspections, and hazard identification programs
  • Lead incident management at Group level, including investigations, root cause analysis, reporting to management, and closure of corrective/preventive actions
  • Act as the primary interface with regulatory authorities and auditors (e.g., DOSH), ensuring full compliance and audit readiness
  • Develop and track safety KPIs, and management reporting, providing insights to senior leadership
  • Champion a strong safety culture, through structured training programs, awareness campaigns, and leadership engagement initiatives
  • Lead the procurement, management, and periodic inspection of safety equipment and tools, ensuring adequacy, compliance, and readiness always
  • Act as Chief Floor Warden, providing overall command during fire drills and emergency situations, including:
  • Planning and execution of evacuation drills
  • Ensuring Emergency Response Team (ERT) readiness
  • Post-drill evaluation and continuous improvement of emergency procedures
  • Advise senior management on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and strategic improvements in workplace safety

Security Guard Monitoring & Governance

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end security operations across all office locations, ensuring alignment with Group security standards
  • Establish and enforce security governance framework, policies, and procedures across all sites
  • Provide strategic oversight of security vendors/guards, including performance management, deployment planning, and service quality assurance
  • Ensure effective execution and continuous improvement of:
  • Access control systems and protocols
  • Visitor and vendor management processes
  • Surveillance systems and monitoring practices
  • After-office-hours security arrangements
  • Act as the central escalation and decision-making authority for all security and safety incidents
  • Integrate security operations into the broader enterprise risk management and incident response framework
  • Conduct regular audits, assessments, and reviews of security operations to identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Analyze incident trends and security data to drive preventive strategies and risk mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (OM, HR, Risk, IT, Facilities) to ensure holistic security and safety coverage
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of technology, process enhancements, and standardization across locations

Role Requirements:

  • Proven at least 3 years of hands-on experience leading OSHA/OSH functions within an organization
  • Experience managing multi-site or group-level safety operations is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, audits, and incident management
  • Strong leadership and ownership mindset, with the ability to drive Group-wide initiatives independently
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and govern cross-functional teams and subsidiaries
  • Capable of making timely decisions during incidents and high-pressure situations
  • Strong stakeholder management, including engagement with senior management and external authorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and documentation
  • Task-oriented and execution-driven, with the ability to follow through and ensure closure of actions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in risk assessment and incident investigation
  • Ability to balance operational execution with strategic planning
  • High level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism
  • Solid knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) regulations and best practices
  • Certifications (certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) or equivalent) is a must
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks
  • Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, audit processes, and compliance standards
  • Proficient in incident reporting, documentation, and tracking systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct briefings, and awareness programs effectively
  • Confident in engaging with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
