Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, we provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers - helping them deliver better results every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a strategic liaison between HR and business leadership, aligning people strategy with business goals.
  • Engage with Site Managers/GM in understanding and owning priority areas of their respective people agenda
  • Administers core human resource processes including employment, labor and employee relations, performance management and workforce planning within a specific business unit or subsidiary.
  • Develops and recommends solutions to a variety of human resources issues.
  • Handle grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and labor regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement activities and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Administers approved company-wide employee relations policies and practices.
  • Provide professional guidance and coaching to site managers/GMs.
  • Prepares reports and analyzes data from human resource information systems for information reporting and management decision making.
  • Develops internal communication materials regarding benefits, compensation, and other human resources policies and procedures or other internal business issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, blue-collar, logistics, or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and industrial relations
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels off organization.
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

The company DHL itself was founded in San Francisco, United States, in 1969 and expanded its service throughout the world by the late 1970s. In 1979, under the name of DHL Air Cargo, the company entered the Hawaiian islands with an inter-island cargo service using two DC-3 and four DC-6 aircraft. Adrian Dalsey and Larry Hillblom personally oversaw the daily operations until its eventual bankruptcy closed the doors in 1983. At its peak, DHL Air Cargo employed just over 100 workers, management and pilots.
