Sales Engineer
Working Day/ Hour / Location
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Working mode: Hybrid (On-site and remote)
- Based in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru
- May require occasional short trips within Peninsular Malaysia.
Job Scope
- Promoting and offering compressed air products and solutions to designated territories through targeted new and existing customers.
- Strengthen customer relationships, increase market shares, and identify opportunities that help improve customers productivity.
- Proactively explore the given territories to identify new segments and customers who could benefit from the company products.
- Plan and execute sales activities, including service coordination and solution presentations, to convert opportunities into sales orders.
- Explain and demonstrate how our solutions can reduce costs and improve operations.
- Conduct regular SWOT analysis, assess competition, gather market intelligence, and provide customer feedback.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on sales activities, customer visits, and market trends.
- Work closely with the finance team in receivables collection and minimize overdue payments.
- Collaborate with service and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Engage with your manager to support professional growth and future promotion opportunities.
Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in a technical or engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, etc.).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in technical or industrial sales (preferably in the compressed air, machinery or engineering sectors).
- Product training will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
