Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Development and M&A, you will be a key driver in executing the company's growth strategies, identifying market opportunities, and managing complex transactional workflows.

This role offers high visibility and a unique opportunity to participate closely in both buy-side expansion and the evaluation of strategic, long-term monetization and liquidity events for the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) & Strategic Partnerships

  • Deal Execution: Support the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, including market research, target identification, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence execution.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated integrated financial models to evaluate prospective targets and joint venture opportunities.
  • Due Diligence Coordination: Manage cross-functional due diligence teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, HR) and external advisors to identify risks and synergies during transaction processes.
  • Strategic Cooperation: Assist in evaluating and structuring strategic alliances, commercial partnerships, and joint ventures that align with Quasar's global growth objectives.

2. Corporate Development & Strategic Exit Initiatives

  • Strategic Monetization Support: Actively participate in prepping the company for potential mid-to-long-term corporate development milestones, including strategic exit events, recapitalizations, or secondary market opportunities.
  • Data Room & Marketing Management: Lead the preparation and curation of virtual data rooms (VDRs), investment memoranda, management presentations, and other critical collateral for external stakeholders.
  • Shareholder Value Optimization: Assist leadership in analyzing financial performance and operational metrics to ensure the company is optimally positioned for maximum valuation during prospective liquidity events.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and private equity/strategic buyer activity within the medical device contract manufacturing space.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking (Healthcare/MedTech coverage preferred), Private Equity, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory (Big 4).
  • Deal Track Record: Strong foundational experience supporting M&A transactions. Exposure to both buy-side and sell-side processes is highly advantageous.

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Financial Mastery: Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, tight deadlines, and confidential processes with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Elite verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex financial data into concise presentations for executive leadership and external investors.
  • Discretion & Integrity: Absolute discretion when handling highly confidential corporate data and strategic initiatives.
