Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Audit Function

  • Conduct regular follow-ups on internal audit points to ensure the progress of implementation, timely closure, and execution of corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly reports on the status of internal audit points clearance for the Regional HQ team.
  • Provide training on the AuditBoard system to action owners as needed, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively utilize the system.
  • Act as liaison between auditees and the Internal Auditor, facilitating communication and coordination throughout all stages of an audit, including the preliminary stage, audit fieldwork, and closing.

Compliance Function

  • Support compliance management framework, relevant policies & procedures, and facilitate the yearly review and revision as and when required.
  • Maintaining records of Group of Companies policies.
  • Conduct checks, review, and research on existing policies, system, and procedures to identify gaps and initiate improvements in relevant areas.
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
  • Collaborate with HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication of policies and procedures introduced to drive awareness and compliance.
  • Continuously promoting good corporate governance best principles and practices culture, and value-added business systems and processes to the Group of Companies.

Risk Management Function

  • Drive the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives to ensure significant risks within the Group's businesses are managed appropriately.
  • Drive the Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives to identify potential impacts, which threaten the Group's businesses and provides a capability for, an effective response that safeguards the interests of the Group of Companies stakeholders and reputation.
  • Provide guidance on risk assessment during a regular review of risk registers involving department and process owner.
  • Review and validate the effectiveness of controls registered by process owner and provide independent input.
  • Quarterly reporting on the remediated action/progress towards the registered risk by process owner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good interpersonal skill with various department and different levels of persons, passionate to the job and good presentation skills.
  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or Full Professional Qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years Auditing background in Internal Audit or External Audit or Risk Management Compliance in established firm.
  • Computer literate i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Software application.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
