Why Is This a Great Opportunity
Strategic Market Leadership (Focus on China): You will lead recruitment in the most critical market for Malaysian higher education. Enrollment from China has grown fivefold between 2019 and 2024, with Chinese students making up over 38% of all international students in Malaysia as of 2023. You are entering a market with massive current demand.
Best of Both Worlds Branding: You are selling a unique proposition: a triple-accredited Henley Business School degree and a UK-standard education at roughly 40% of the cost of studying in the UK. This makes your recruitment targets highly achievable as families in China increasingly seek value and affordability.
High-Level Strategic Ownership: Unlike standard recruitment roles, this position demands P-level skills (Strategy, ROI, and Stakeholder Influence). You aren't just attending fairs; you are managing budgets, coaching a dedicated China team, and working directly with senior leadership to refine regional strategies [Job Description].
Cross-Campus Global Collaboration: You will work closely with colleagues at the UK campus to align recruitment practices and regional engagement [Job Description]. This provides significant international networking and exposure to global higher education standards that can accelerate your career visibility.
Modern Work Environment and Lifestyle: offers a high quality of life and a flexible work culture that many employees rate highly for work-life balance.
