Job Summary

The Manager, Logistic Management is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound, outbound, warehouse, and line-side delivery to support production efficiency. This role ensures cost optimization, timely delivery, and alignment with production schedules while maintaining compliance with company standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall logistics operations including inbound, outbound, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure smooth material flow from suppliers to production lines (e.g., Body Shop, Trim & Final).
  • Monitor and optimize logistics cost, transportation, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business and production goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Engineering, and external suppliers.
  • Manage 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and vendor performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Logistics, cost reduction).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop logistics team members for high performance.
  • Support new project launches (e.g., new models, CKD/SKD export activities).
  • Utilize and improve logistics systems (SAP, WMS, ERP) for operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory control, and production support.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional coordination.
  • Familiar with SAP / ERP systems and logistics planning tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
