About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager / Senior Manager, Media Operations & Finance to serve as the operational and financial backbone of our Malaysia operations. This critical hybrid role bridges Paid Media teams and Finance, ensuring financial accuracy, operational excellence, and business continuity. You will be the single point of accountability for media spend integrity, reconciliation, and operational systemsenabling media teams to stay focused on performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial reconciliation across digital platforms including Programmatic, Social, Search, and Display, ensuring platform spend aligns with client budgets and internal trackers
- Validate and finalize monthly actual spend across third-party vendors prior to billing to ensure accuracy
- Own accounts payable processes by mapping vendor invoices to campaign numbers, tracking payment status, and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain and audit internal campaign and billing systems to ensure accurate setup and seamless processing
- Govern system access for media platforms, DSPs, ad accounts, and shared tools, ensuring security and compliance
- Manage reporting integrations and data hygiene to ensure teams have reliable, up-to-date performance and spend data
- Implement and monitor budget controls to prevent overspend and protect client investments
- Provide financial reporting, operational insights, and support for leadership, new business initiatives, and continuity planning
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Media Operations, Media Finance, or Agency Account Management with strong exposure to financial reconciliation
- Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including DSPs, social platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn), search platforms, and ad servers
- Hands-on experience with media billing platforms, ERP systems, and data tools such as Supermetrics
- Strong sense of ownership with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and problem-solving
- Ability to communicate complex financial and operational data clearly to both media teams and finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills, with a passion for streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency
