Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the electrical engineering team to design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for the data center.
  • Oversee the development of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, backup systems, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all electrical engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and construction of new data center facilities.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for electrical engineering initiatives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentorship to team members to foster professional growth.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, addressing any issues to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering and data center operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, and energy efficiency in data center environments.
  • Proficiency in industry standards and codes, such as IEEE, NEC, and NFPA.
  • Experience with electrical system modeling, analysis, and simulation tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and mentorship.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
