Manager - Personal Financial Services Credit (Credit Evaluation- Cards)

To process and evaluate Credit Cards (CC) applications in accordance to guidelines and procedures, ensuring consistent delivery of high quality services to customers and meeting objectives set by the department while maintaining credit losses at an acceptable level.

Functional

• To check completeness of application form and documents
• Review supporting income documents and calculate verified income accurately
• To detect fraudulent application, tampered / suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to Fraud Management Unit
• Perform loan approval within delegated approving authority limit and required TAT while adhering to existing credit underwriting guidelines and policies
• To maintain good booking quality measured through IL / NCL rates
• To provide recommendation for credit applications beyond the credit officer's approving authority limit or where deviation approval is required
• Perform verification on customer's personal and/or employment information where required
• To ensure customer's complaint is being handled and resolved in a timely and professional manner
• Timely reporting of suspicious money laundering activities. (If any)
• Ensure strict adherence to all credit policies, procedures, BNM guidelines, compliance & etc
• Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.

Jobholder Requirements

Education/Qualification

• Professional or tertiary qualification or related working experience.

Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics,
• Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management,
• Commerce or equivalent At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Special Skills

• Having CCP / CCE Certification is an advantage.
