Project: Juru-Sg Dua (Contract 2 years)
- Develop and implement category management strategies for construction, operational, and maintenance activities to optimize cost and ensure compliance with Company and Government requirements.
- Lead all sourcing activities, including pre- and post-contract processes, to ensure quality, value for money, and timely project delivery.
- Oversee the full tender processcost planning, documentation, evaluations, clarifications, negotiations, and tender committee submissionsin accordance with procurement SOPs.
- Ensure effective cost control throughout tendering and escalate proposals exceeding approved budgets for management decision.
- Coordinate all RFI/RFQ/RFP activities and ensure documentation, approvals, and processes comply with PLUS procurement standards.
- Manage post-contract administration including contract rates, securities, insurance, payments, variation orders, EOT, completion certificates, and final accounts.
- Review and analyze cost implications and commercial proposals from contractors, consultants, and technical teams across all project stages.
- Monitor project progress, conduct coordination meetings, and ensure completion within contractual timelines, budget allocations, and technical specifications.
- Assess and report vendor/contractor performance to support future procurement and vendor selection decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop subordinates while continuously improving procurement and contract management processes and maintaining cost databases for future benchmarking.
Requirement
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 10 years in handling projects, contracts and cost operation matters
