About the Role. Business facing role responsible for the success of business needs through the management of SAP program/project deliveries and strong business relationships.
. Support development and implementation of SAP solutions by understanding business demands and translating them into a plan.
. Ensure high quality of project delivery and deliverables.
. Drive the implementation and delivery of complex projects. Ensure quality of project delivery and deliverables are maintained to acceptable level.
. Manage vendors to meet business expectations and demands.
. Involve in FCB (Finance Change Board) business meetings to understand the nature of projects requested and provide input/feedback as necessary
. Plan and secure project resources
. Manage and maintain a weekly project status tracker to coordinate, track and monitor project from initiation until closure
. Ensure quality of project delivery and deliverables are maintained to acceptable level
. Provide relevant support and advice on project changes (where necessary) to respective work streams
. Attend CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to provide oversight/advice and challenges on project changes

  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Participate in business process due diligence, solution design, application design and configuration, and documentation of system requirements to help deliver successful implementations
  • Plan and manage resources accordingly to ensure successful implementations
  • Manage budgets and team schedules Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manages project budget and scope. Identify out of scope items and create change orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before they are sent to the customer.
  • Coordinate & obtain project and test signoffs from respective stakeholders as needed
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Adhere to AIA project management policy and framework
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes.
  • Work closely with internal support team and ensure compliance to AIA guidelines and policies
  • Prepare reports and presentations to senior management and relevant key stakeholders.
  • Foster good relationships with third party suppliers and manage expectations to deliver projects based on business requirements.
  • Actively manages and solves conflicts.
  • Mentor / coach junior on tasks and through constructive feedback to identify areas of strength, and areas for improvement.

Communication Requirements
Internal:
  • Manage the communication and updates to Senior management, Steering Committees, Senior Management Stakeholders on the progress and performance of the programs/projects
  • Work with all team members to ensure the teamwork meets project requirements
  • Liaise with necessary AIA colleagues outside the department to ensure delivery of projects as required

External:
  • Liaise with Vendors (where applicable) on project deliverables

Education
  • University graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline

Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of solid project management experience
  • Experience in handling IT Enterprise Application systems specifically in SAP
  • Relevant IT Center of Excellence (CoE) experience - either in Project or BAU support environment.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with senior executives in large organizations/MNC
  • Strong trait in people management and coordination work including processes on policies and documentations
  • Experience in managing new and established vendors

Certifications/licenses
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification required
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM methodology (preferred)
