The Manager - Stress Testing is responsible for assisting in leading the team to set the Bank's Internal Capital Threshold via the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP). This position is tasked with performing and improving the Bank's Stress Testing programs through periodic enhancements to techniques used in assessing capital adequacy, ensuring the Bank's risk management priorities are reflected in its strategic plans.
Lead Capital Management Standards: Assess capital management and stress testing requirements, ensuring that regulatory and industry standards are consistently adopted across the Group.
Enhance Stress Testing Programs: Develop new or improve existing stress testing programs and techniques to ensure robust assessment of the Bank's capital position.
Policy Governance & Review: Review and enhance ICAAP and Stress Test related policies and procedures to align with evolving regulatory developments.
Conduct Capital Adequacy Assessments: Perform regular stress testing in conjunction with relevant Heads of Departments to evaluate the Bank's capital resilience.
Provide Strategic Risk Insights: Conduct research to advise management on significant risk headwinds and maintain a firm handle on risks arising from economic or regulatory shifts.
Manage Analytics Projects: Lead and coordinate projects relating to the enhancement of the Bank's capital analytics processes and reporting frameworks.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Deliver effective communications and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the Bank, including senior management and various lines of business.
Team Leadership & Development: Act as a positive role model by driving objectives within the Group Risk division and guiding team members to continuously upskill their expertise.
Bachelor's degree membership in a locally/internally recognized risk management professional body is preferable.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience within the financial sector, with a proven track record of balancing risk and business objectives.
Proven leadership with a strong ability to organize and plan strategically when managing complex and challenging assignments.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for high-level analytics and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience operating within large governance structures and dealing with all organizational levels.
Results-focused individual with a demonstrated ability to identify pragmatic solutions to technical risk challenges.
