About The Job

The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end operations, stability, and performance of unattended robotic process automation (RPA) solutions across the organisation. The role ensures reliable execution of scheduled and event‑driven automations while driving continuous improvement and structured experimentation with Agentic AI under established governance frameworks.

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations, stability, and performance of unattended RPA solutions in production.
  • Act as first‑level escalation point for incidents impacting unattended automations and coordinate timely remediation with various stakeholders.
  • Manage planned changes impacting RPA environments, including release and deployment activities, server maintenance, security patches, and major software or platform upgrades, ensuring operational readiness and minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure automation solutions comply with internal governance standards, security controls, and audit requirements.
  • Perform configuration and scripting changes for unattended automations where required, particularly for defect resolution, optimisation, and enhancement activities.
  • Maintain operational documentation, incident logs, and enhancement registers.
  • Engage with business users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify, shape, and progress opportunities for automation or Agentic AI enablement.
  • Support delivery of enhancement and optimisation initiatives arising from operational insights.
  • Drive structured experimentation with Agentic AI and intelligent automation for business‑raised use cases, within defined governance and guardrails.
  • Document and communicate outcomes, learnings, and recommendations from Agentic AI experimentation.
  • Support training, knowledge sharing, and capability uplift initiatives within the RPA COE.

We are looking for people who

  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
  • 5–8 years of experience in RPA operations, automation support, or digital transformation roles.
  • Proven experience managing unattended RPA environments, including operational stability, incident handling, and change activities.
  • Working knowledge of automation tools or RPA platforms (e.g. Nintex RPA [previously Kryon], UiPath, Automation Anywhere), with the ability to guide and review work where required.
  • Strong understanding of incident management, release management, and operational risk controls, with experience applying these in a production environment.
  • Experience driving or contributing to AI, intelligent automation, or agent‑based experimentation through POCs, pilots, or controlled initiatives is an advantage.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation languages (e.g. VBA, Python, JavaScript) to support automation, optimisation, or integration use cases is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgements and recommendations within scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders independently, balance competing priorities, and take initiative to drive outcomes.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining operational discipline.
